For many organizations, I built and lead teams in sales, business development, recruitment, administration and operations and each of my team adjudged as the best in the entire organization. They empowered me to exceed the benchmark and effectiveness by over three times. Whenever I am building any team, I instill the organization's and my vision and values in them and train and nurture them to realize it. Here are the things which I follow or adopt to build a great team.
I make them accountable: I always make my team members accountable for the growth of entire team and will always trained them on how to manage the situations arising out of paradigm shifts. I always appreciate them on their performance and even the values they are adopting of the organization and the team. I always let them accountable for carrying the vision and the values of the team and the organization. I also make my team member accountable to their health and make them go to gym and have quality food.
I always guide them towards excellence: Before setting any performance benchmarks, I always assess my team member's capabilities and will set a realistic performance benchmark and will always guide them to exceed the performance metric and even carrying the organization's values. I always make every member of my team to contribute their knowledge and their skills for the improvement of team performance. I also sit with individual team members to understand their hidden skills and capabilities which can improve the overall performance of team. I also maintain a mentor-mentee cell within my team.
